Animator Wanted — Music Video

Not The Plan is looking for an animator to create one animated music video for an upcoming single.

The project

• A complete animated music video for a single track (~[2–4] min)
• A look built from the release’s cover art, palette, and the Not The Plan strikethrough style
• Delivered in full resolution for YouTube, plus a vertical 9:16 cut for Reels / TikTok

What we’re looking for

• A reel or portfolio with at least one music video, narrative, or kinetic animation piece
• Strong sense of timing — animation that cuts and moves with the track
• Comfort with After Effects (or equivalent) and clean exports
• Can take a brief, share progress (storyboard / animatic → final), and hit the release date

Nice to have

• Kinetic typography / lyric integration
• Your own illustration or 3D
• Sound-reactive / audio-synced motion

Details

• Kenya-based preferred · remote / freelance
• Fixed fee for the video — KES 35000(scope-dependent)
• Timeline: tied to the release date — roughly 8 weeks
